Restorative

Restorative dentistry is the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the teeth and their supporting structures. Dr. Strickland will utilize many advanced restorative dentistry techniques to restore natural teeth that have been damaged, decayed, or lost.

Fillings

We repair decayed teeth by placing white composite fillings, which look natural and are mercury-free. If the damage to the tooth is more extensive, it may require a crown which will protect it by distributing the stress to the tooth in a more favorable manner.

Crowns

Damaged teeth might seem hopeless, but there's often a solid foundation underneath. A crown, or cap, can bring a compromised tooth back to full function. With modern ceramic materials, you'll have a difficult time trying to find where the crown ends and the tooth starts.

Tooth Replacement

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a surgical procedure in which a replacement tooth root is placed and fused with the jawbone. While dental implants work well when replacing a single tooth, they may not be the best option for multiple teeth replacement. That said, dental implants provide the look and feel of natural teeth and can last for years, if not decades, without needing to be repaired or replaced. However, since a dental implant requires surgery and typically cost more than bridges or dentures, they aren’t right for everyone.

Fixed Bridges

Quite simply, a fixed bridge bridges the gap between one or more missing teeth. Once the bridge is in place, it looks, feels and functions like natural teeth, does not require removal for cleaning and is typically much more cost effective than a dental tooth implant.
